We are working to improve productivity and long working hours by promoting work efficiency and online learning through digital utilization for beauty salons and also provide business support to freelance beauty professionals who have been increasing in recent years as a new way of working by promoting the improvement of the working environment and back office support.
In addition, while listening to the voices of customers and business partners, we will work to revise the Cosmetologists Act, including the Cosmetologists Act enacted in 1957, in order to respond to changes in the environment and circumstances of people involved in the beauty industry.

The Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) Fund operated by our group company BG Ventures is a corporate venture capital (CVC) that invests in beauty-related businesses in Japan and supports investors.
Through CVC Fund BG Ventures, we will grow together in the beauty industry, where there are still many issues to be tackled, invest in and support innovative start-up companies that can contribute to the further development of the industry, and improve the beauty industry and the world.

As part of the efforts to promote digitalization in the beauty industry, we will also promote digitalization in the field of education through investment and a capital and business alliance in “HAIR CAMP”, which develops video education services and online salons for beauticians.
We aim to create an environment where hairdressers can have more rewarding and enjoyable careers by creating synergies with our cosmetology / beauty-related business and IT business.

In February 2022, we started providing the online shop construction service “Salon.EC”. “Salon.EC” is a SaaS-type service for beauty salons, such as beauty parlors and esthetic salons, to build official salon online shops that sells “salon exclusive products”. With this service, we believe that beauty salons can start online stores with zero cost and zero inventory risk while receiving follow-up from our company until opening and sales, which we will contribute to the DX conversion of salons while incleaseing sales.
